I like when everything comes together nice and smooth. That is the best way to describe my experience staying @ Alfa Hotel Fiesta. Nice friendly staff members, good spacious rooms and excellent breakfast every morning - traveler's dream. And the most important - no hidden fees or other unpleasant surprises. All that makes Alfa Hotel Fiesta a safe harbor for the travelers who would like to return to a place with good memories.

For the $85 we paid we got a humongous room up on 4th floor. Helpful cordial staff. Breakfast included. Great internet signal right in the room.

Turned on the A/C but not sure if it works. They did not have on site parking but I found a spot about 50m on the crowded street.

We stayed for 4 nights, booked via Last Minute as their recommended hotel, and advertised as four star. Definitely not - lumpy pillows, dark poorly lit room, mediocre breakfast, too hot and air con not working. Decor basic and furniture solid but unattractive. Walls paper thin.

The location was great though - we walked and used public transport all the time. The area is lively and reasonably priced.

Hotel was in a good location on the Pest side of the city, only 2 short blocks from the inner ring of the city. the tram/Metro stations were also 2 blocks away.
Breakfast was really good; having pate and dandelion salad for breakfast were, for me, a good indication of a good buffet spread!
the mostly young staff spoke good English and gave helpful directions. just don't listen when they say "the castle area is mainly flat" because it's not! :)
the room was amazingly roomy but I later realized that it was probably because it was an inside room (no windows) so the lack of windows was compensated with the size. besides, I was on the top floor so the room has skylights, but still it could be claustrophobic for some. I'm not sure if this is true for the other rooms but the bathroom in mine was wheelchair-friendly, both in terms of size (it seems a wheelchair can maneuver freely!) and handle bars.
still, I don't think this hotel deserves a 4-star rating; 3-star should be more like it.

Room Tip: if claustrophobic, no inside rooms!
