Now this is something you don't find everyday. When you enter this apartment in an historical building a few blocks away from the parliament you feel like time has stopped. The house is packed of souvenirs, trophies and trinkets from the trips of the old owners. There is a room with walls covered with old maps and bronze statues scattered all around the place. Naturally you'll find everything you need in the kitchen and the host is always available (she stayed an hour with us in order to suggest bars and restaurants). In a phrase, it's your perfect Base for exploring the city, especially if you are a group of friends. Ps: great value for money too. We definitely would go again!
Beautiful time capsule to spend some days with friends. Everything is full with 50's charm, therefore you might get in trouble with a quirky bed or a greedy neighbor, but I guess it's part of traveling in time. Very nice building, clean apartment and very nice and understanding host Anna! I would most definitely go back.
The flat is amazing. So much history and lovely little details, from unique wall art to a working LP player . It's exactly as amazing, or more, as on the pictures. We spent the weekend with 10 friends there, we cooked dinner on one night, and since it's fairly central, it was easy to reach other parts of town. The building has a majestic feel to it, so it's great for any special occasion. The owner was also extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. The only important thing to keep in mind : the place has history and being old is part of the charm. So if you're looking for a place with flat screen TV or induction cooking, this is not it. But we loved it for the history and it was really unique.
