Stayed for 2 nights at the Marrol's hotel, and had a great time. The hotel, staff and service was excellent.
We chose this hotel based on other trip advisor reviews.Marrol's was of a high standard in a good location to the old (best) part of Bratislava. The staff were friendly with nice little extras that you don't expect, such as a welcome drink on arrival and a free mini bar in the room. There are terrace gardens which have complimentary soft drinks available.
Bratislava was a pleasant city to visit and was a good stopover for reaching other cities such as Vienna,Budapest and Prague.

I chose Hotel Marrols for the first time about three months ago. I come to Bratislava for business every month and I was not happy with my previous hotel. Since then I stayed there three more times as well as other colleagues from my company.
Very friendly and helpful service with lovely polite and charming staff. The breakfast is always excellent with good choice and a high standard.
The room has the highest standard and superb value. Best sleep I have had in ages with luxery pillows, bedding and facilities including a free mini bar, tea making facilities and computer in every room!

I will definately go to this hotel again and I wouldn't even shop around for another. Note this hotel is one of the top luxury hotels in the world and is right up there with others you might not be able to afford!

Thanks to the staff at the hotel because while working every day a lot I always make the most of the hotel and it is is a joy to get back to this hotel after a every day at work.

Will not come back all previous five stars reviews that i fully support!
Don't stop at the street pictures, you would miss a lot.
The plus is the cozy and charming feeling that is too often missing.
Also a very good cozy restaurant, maybe just avoid local wine, but is it relevant from a French guy?

We have stayed at 4 and 5 star hotels all over the world and this hotel is hard to beat. The courtesy and friendliness of the staff all excellent. I agree the rooms are not very large, but everything you needed was included: robes, slippers, good bathroom with decent hairdryer, flat screen TV, computer with free Wi-fi, DVD player, complementary minibar, coffee and tea making facilites. Please note that the duvets are folded the german way, horizontally, so initially you think that the duvets are very short, but of course they aren't. Breakfast was extremely good, with good selection of cereals, nuts, seeds, fresh fruit, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, sausages, yoghurts, smoked salmon, hams etc etc. Nice roof terrace between 1st and 2nd floors, with complimentary soft drinks - nice to while an hour away with a book (but take a cushion, as the seats are hard). 5 - 10 minute walk to Old Town. Couldn't fault it.
