It's a cute hotel, very well located, but unfortunately the maintenance needs to be reviewed. The staff was very helpful and nice though. And the room service was also not bad. Definitely doable for a short stay.

Location is great and beautiful in the middle of the Old town. and the breakfast room ceiling is amazing. But the breakfast itself is no good at all: the selection is not on the level of 4 star hotel and they run out of food all the time.
But the big issue was the heating. WE were a group of 4 people on a business trip on a cold winter day. The temperature in the rooms was below 15C! After complaining I received an extra radiator in my room, but it did not help a lot. I had to have a pullover on together with two blankets and was still freezing.
There are much better hotels in Vilnius for the same price.

We stayed just three nights. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff are very pleasant and courteous. The restaurant was very good for the one meal we had apart from Breakfast. Breakfast was a little hit and miss. leathery pancakes, soggy fried bread, undercooked bacon, excellent selection of local items available with vegetables, fruit, usual cereals, tea and coffee, in fact all the usual suspects. Chaotic when busy with coach parties or at peak times. Overall though a great place to stay. I recommend it.

Perfect location close to many bars in a charming street. The downstairs of the hotel is Ok but I was very disappointed with the room. It was small and old fashioned. The bathroom was also very old, the shower door didn´t close properly and the water was going in all directions in the shower head. The view was to an internal courtyard. Heating could not be controlled so it was a bit cold at times. Very clean though.
Breakfast was in a very nice cellar room but the variety was not great.
I would not recommend this hotel unless you got a very good deal. Average 3* definetely not a 4*.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with balcony

Feel confused by all the good reviews we were not impressed at all.

Bad points:

Service poor the waiters/waitresses even the receptionist ignorant, inattentive and miserable.

Tables at breakfast left dirty and nobody to represent the hotel around to speak to.

The whole place has an odd vibe just not inviting at all.

I would give the food at breakfast 5/10

The Room the was old fashioned including the bathroom and the shower not very good sprayed out in all directions

Room cold at times the heater was self managed at one point but has been altered to be centrally controlled i'm guessing as the switches have been removed, this is ok if its done right and heating when it's -3 would be nice.

Tv only has 2 English channels which are news channels, not great satellite really.

Good points:

Location is good quite a walk from the cathedral square though so take comfortable shoes.

Amazing to be so close to the gate of dawn, must visit!

Lots of nice restaurants and cafes near by try Little Mavis across the road for excellent friendly service and real English breakfast Or pancake place next door (Gusto) fab prices.

Room very clean and beds comfortable.

I would not stay at Europa Royale again although we got a bargain really so I guess we got what we paid for.

Stayed: December 2017
