Ate here for the first time having liked the look of the restaurant when we drove past. Very pleasant staff when we made the booking. Unfortunately the food didn’t live up to expectations. We ordered a selection of ham and cheese along with fried chicken for starters - we had to send the chicken back as it was severely undercooked. Ordered a beer but had to ask three times for it as it took so long to arrive. For main course we had ordered the beef and a risotto, along with sweet potato fries - for information it’s more of a beef stew. The risotto arrived a good five minutes before the beef and we’d all finished our main courses by the time the sweet potato fries arrived so they were also sent back.
Apparently the place has only been open a week but it really needs to improve if it’s to get repeat business. It may be that it was too busy for the kitchen to cope while it finds its feet. Unfortunately we won’t be returning.
