Early for the dinner menu so had to eat off the lunch menu. The garlic bread was wonderfully runny with melted garlic butter and a side dish of butter in case you didn't have enough. The green lipped mussels served in a tomato and curry sauce were lovely. We ate them all with relish. My wife had the whitebait omelette, that seemed a strange combination, but was great. With a couple of beers and a small cider the whole meal was lovely as was the service and location. A sunny day completed the outing. Well worth the walk from our campsite.

Super friendly staff without being in your face. My husband had the classic breakfast like he does everywhere we go and wasn't disappointed which is saying a lot as he is very fussy about his fry ups. I had the Akaroa Salmon Gravlax and can not praise it enough...clearly fresh and homemade it was absolutely devine! Cant wait to go back for tea!

We enjoyed having dinner here and the view of the bay. Tried the whitebait fish fritter for the first time and it was delicious.

We only had beer and coffee there but the food looked great. They make their own brew and it
was really good. Except for all the bugs flying around, it was a great experience.

The triple garlic bread entree is to die for!! We then enjoyed the venison which was also amazing and very filling we could not fit in dessert :{ The view from the restaurant across the harbour is simply stunning!!
