Tried canoeing the Saco giving it one more chance! Came here for 18 years in a row, being our favorite vacation camping spot. We looked forward to our time on the Saco, meeting people from all over. It was a time when you could enjoy the peace and quiet of it, the river was clean and people respected it. Not trashing it like today, it is so sad that this has happened to the river. I will never come back as it is dirty from the people who have no pride in nature. What a shame !!!! There should be more patrols and fines imposed. It used to be a nice place to take a family but certainly not now! Sad!
