I've been going here since I lived in DC for a year in the mid 1990s. This restaurant by Chef Andres (and he has some great ones in DC) is a great place to go with a group, since you can try many things. They have standards like jamon, manchego, garlic shrimp, and patatas bravas, but also more adventurous items. Sea urchin, trout roe, pork with foie gras. Great cheese selection beyond the standard fare. Last time I was in town I was solo, so had some happy hour offerings at their convivial bar. They had a a free sherry tasting that evening, too, so that was fun. Restaurant has been redecorated--not staid at all. A contrast to folks on the Hill.
