Enjoyed dishes from Peru. Piscina sour. Not made the way they do there which is shaken not blended. But ok. Great avocado dish. Carne Asada with chimichurri. Yum plantains. I'll go back. And I love the masks. Check it out. Who knew there was actually anything good to eat on 18th street.

The decor was beautiful but the food and drinks were not great. After waiting a long time for the Luke warm calamari and the unsalted tostones. We tried the pisca the cachaca to drink both were a flavorless mess. We packed up and left. Thanks but no thanks!! But the DECOR WAS BEAUTIFUL.

We arrived on a Friday evening around 9pm and it was relatively quiet. It was nice, the food was good and the drinks were great. After a couple of hours it transformed to a lovely Salsa music haven! A live band set up and they were phenomenal!!! There were a few couples that just couldn't contain themselves and took the small dance floor! Overall a wonderful night at Rumba Cafe! Oh and the service was great too! Our waitress Vanessa was sooo accommodating even though we had such a large group on a busy night in a tight space. We will be back!!

Friendly little place with beautiful paintings and scrumptious food.
We visited on a Monday night and two of us focused on the $5 appetizers. (Monday is happy hours all day!) Each of the vegetarian options was delicious, and I particularly recommend the patacón de yuca.
My husband had a roast beef appetizer that was a meal in itself. That did not stop him from also ordering the pork with pineapple; he said it was very good, and ate it all (ordinarily he is not a glutton).
Drinks are good as well.
I was told that weekends are lively, but the ambiance on Monday night was subdued, and perfect for conversation, great food and libations!

Nice place in the heart of Adam Morgan. We enjoyed a very good mohito and tasty appetizers, including a delicious beef tenderloin and fried yucca. The latter was a first time ever for me but I would say it was first class. Service is fast and friendly and they do their best to accommodate any request you might have.
