This was our last wine tasting of the day. The grounds are beautiful and the tour and tasting were very unique and special. This place is not to be missed. We came right after sunset, but returned the next day to watch the sunset. Be sure to make a reservation for the restaurant Fauna. A special dining experience. Wine tasting is $30, but worth it.
We WERE looking at this resort for our next stay as we almost booked it this go around, (thankfully we choose something different) Therefore we had to come here on our private wine (it was our top of our list) although the property was amazing and Johnathan was out of this world with knowledge and kindness the 2 girls at the front the desk ruined the experience for all of us, they are RUDE, not nice, and their attitude was horrible. Perhaps if they have a new couple front desk people, we would go back, as Johnathan was the best guide we had all day!
Everyone is entitled to having a bad day, but honestly it ruined it for all 3 of us, not only checking into the tour but also while buying some wine.
Bruma is a great winery (amongst other things as well) and if you can get a reservation a definite must! Beautiful story of friendship behind it. Will definitely return. Will have to come back to try Fauna as I hear many great things about it.
The Casa8 staff gave us wrong instructions about the winery tour at Bruma.
They don’t help us and treat us well while having issues on getting support.
It was impossible to get a response from the Manager wasting out time.
First and last time at this hotel.
Food from Fauna was a 10++. Villas were perfect and staff was plentiful and hospitable. Fauna catered the wedding we attended while the ceremony was held near CasaOcho under an enormous tree. All in all, a perfect venue.
