If you want a nice quiet old south place to vacation with no stress, this is the place. The kind folks that manage & run this place are the owners so they really care about their customers. Friendly helpful people , nicely decorated, renovated rooms. Would definitely stay here again!! ☺️
We arrived to room that smelled musty and the pool while advertised prominently in the listing, was in a permanent state of closure for maintenance. In fact the maintenance sign was permanent affixed even though the pool looked beautiful. It gave the impression that it was a marketing trap. I wonder when this pool will ever be open ?
Not a word from management on this either.
Overall a poor experience.
We stayed 2 nights, 2nd floor balcony suite. The ceiling fans were so dirty we were afraid to turn them on! Whirlpool tub, jets were black with mold. The balcony and view were great. The place needs a really good cleaning.
Owner was friendly. Room was clean and I think recently renovated. Pricing was reasonable. The location was fine because the town isn't very big. It is probably less than five minutes to get to the restaurants and waterfront.
Nothing fancy about this hotel. It's old and outdated. Check in was very easy. Entering the room, it smelled clean and nothing was out of the ordinary. Beds were ok and clean. Bathroom could use some paint and more cleaning. It had a small fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Overall, it wasn't horrible for a nights stay and it's not too far from all of the restaurants and shops.
