Loved the view

Spent two nights here as part of a bicycle tour group. Our room was much bigger than expected, with two very separate bedrooms each with their own bathroom. Large living room and best of all, a screened-in porch on the water, complete with pelicans. Can’t comment on the kitchen because Covid rules are still in place here; coffee lovers have to ask the Front Desk for K cups and provide your own cream and sugar. I spent one afternoon in the smallish pool; very relaxing. Would stay here again.

The rooms are suites and very well appointed! Can easily accommodate a small family! Well stocked kitchen with dining area. Great linens with luxury personal cleaning items. It was a joy to walk into this room.

Room tip: 2 complete bathrooms and screened in porch!

Have stayed there before and it was better maintained then. Some slippage overall.

Rooms were clean, but no other amenities this visit. Could have used more pots and pans in kitchen. Also coffee service poor.

We have stayed here several times over the years and have loved this place. Rooms are huge, comfortable with beautiful views...and you can bring your boat. This weekend was our first since Covid. You have to ask for coffee pods at the front desk. No sugar, creamer etc in the room either for the pods we brought from home. So no coffee, front desk wasn't open yet. Between the refrigerator and counter was a piece of toast on the floor, room 110. Don't know whose or how long it had been there. You would expect a little more effort on their parts when paying so much for a night! Since this is the only time we have had a problem after so many stays here, we will try again but just in case: bring, coffee, creamer, sugar.

Room tip: all rooms are quiet, we have stayed in several, do prefer the first floor.

When we first pulled in, it was dark outside so we couldn't really see too much of the surrounding area so we were nervous but when we entered our room we were shocked. It was HUGE. We had a two bedroom king suite. It fit our needs perfectly for our four night stay. The king room was very roomy with a large closet allowing us to unpack and never touch our suitcases until we had to pack to leave. The little twin room was just enough for our teenager. The kitchen and living room were comfortable (although the kitchen could use a few more utensils). But it was the screened in porch overlooking the river that blew us away. We spent almost all of our time out there (when we weren't exploring the town) watching the river otters and pelicans. The hotel is an easy walking distance from the town and restaurants.

Room tip: We stayed on the 3rd floor, closer to town.

It's truly a beautiful location, and we had lots of space to spread out, a screened-in porch facing the water and very comfortable lodging. The first electrical problem we had was in the bedroom. If you plugged anything into one socket, the lights went out and we had to flip the circuit breaker. The next day, when I came back to the room, the kitchen sockets were buzzing like hornets. No, I am not making this up. I was told by the front desk that it was a power surge. As a result, neither kitchen socket worked (we used the Keurig on the floor), nor did either bathroom socket. When I talked with the front desk in person, the attendant seemed rather unconcerned.

Room tip: Choose a room facing the canal, preferably with a balcony.
