Quick summary: our room was clean and comfortable, with the amenities of a good Best Western property. Friendly, professional service. No elevator, so visitors with mobility problems should ask for a ground floor room.
We stayed in room #201, which has two very comfortable beds (fine for me - a little distance from the snoring husband.) To note: no elevator, but the stairs are manageable for most, but should be noted for those with disablities.
The room has all the amenities that have made us fans of Best Western affiliates -- comfy beds and pillows; microwave and fridge; good work space on a work desk; good bedside reading lights. Storage for your stuff includes three drawers in a chest. This room has a comfortable des chair and a "sitting" chair.
The closet is an open rod, which makes me squirrely if staff comes if staff comes in the room - both less tidy-looking and I prefer to keep my private stuff to myself -- but there are fewer staff visits during COVID times.
The bathroom has a tub/shower combination (thank you! I love a tub at the end of a long day.) I can't promise that they will offer these in the future, but the room had complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion.
Spotless housekeeping.
Wifi worked well. Good HVAC.
Friendly, professional staff throughout. Good COVID practices on the part of the staff and how they manage the hotel.
I sympathize with the management during COVID times when a signature amenity of the BW chain has been complimentary breakfast - not easy to do and still maintain good covid practices. We were offered grab-and-go muffin and instant oatmeal that can be made in the room, as well we bottled water. (Thanks especially for the oatmeal.)
Nice looking pool area, although we did not use it on our visit.
'Nice to see the forward-looking practices - there are charging stations for two electric cars. Bravo!
