Excellent home cooked Italian food.....the Lasagna is great and the baked spaghetti is enough for 2. Pizza was good and hot. Décor is rather bland but I didn't go for the décor. Lot of take out orders which is an excellent indicator of Great Food.

Late dinner but food is good and fresh as always. The staff was super friendly. Great Albany Favorite. If real Italian food by real Italians is what you're craving this is your place to dine.

No real greeting when you come in one of two doors. If a table is clean you find your own way to it and wait for the next free waitress to bring you menus. (They don't work stations so servers are running all over the restaurant) The menu is a good variety of classic Americanized Italian dishes.

Our dinners started with a salad made of chopped iceberg, a couple of Roma Tomato slices, sliced green olives and poor commercial croutons. Should have ordered the Italian Dressing because the Blue Cheese is right out of jar and vinegary.

Our dinners were served promptly and looked very good. However if your going to be an Italian Restaurant you need to be sure your sauces have time to cook down, thicken and let the various seasoning blossom to creaete a Real Italian Sauce rather than the thin overly uncooked tomato sauce.

If the restaurant gets busy, forget about your server for she is either running the register, running around the restaurant or just plain not seen. It took us longer to get our check, pizza box, and to get our receipt than it did to eat our dinner.

Miss the old Gargano's and Mama Gina's.

The Pizza is very good and the wait staff friendly.

We went as an extended family and it was not a problem.
The staff rearranged tables to better suit our requirements.

This is not a brick oven pizzeria and the ambiance is a bit lacking but it is still one of the best pizzas in Albany.

It's worth a try.

We were seated very quickly, even though it was fairly crowded.
The service was very good, and the food was cooked to perfection.
The price was very reasonable, and we enjoyed dining there.
