I frequently eat lunch at Martha's kitchen. Her rice&beans is second to none. Occasionally I would eat Escabeche or Relleno Negro. These are deliciously prepare and are accompanied with corn tortillas. The restaurant is always clean and the staff very pleasant. The prices are just right.

Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. With seating outside the restaurant as well, it had a relaxing feel to it and was the perfect start to our day. The food was delicious and good portion sizes. We would definitely go back on a future visit to San Ignacio!

I used marthas guest house for my accommodations which I would highly recommend. Attached to their guest house is there Quaint restaurant rather small but it works very well for them with indoor and outdoor seating. It was nice and convenient with good food good cocktails cold beer and wonderful service staff. And their banana bread is off-the-charts good

Cute restaurant, great food, seating indoor and out. I cannot stress enough how friendly and helpful the staff were. We looked forward to breakfast every morning and the opportunity to chat with our breakfast hosts.
The El Cayeno Breakfast was awesome.

Our one and only visit to Martha's was on our first trip to Belize in 2008. Not sure why we haven't been back. Friends who live in the area invited us to meet them there for breakfast on our recent visit.

We sat outside on the patio which is nicely "green" with plants. The only issue was a sewer smell that came and went and which seems to be a problem in the downtown area, so not Martha's fault.

We had oatmeal and banana bread (absolutely delicious) and huevos rancheros, all of which were really good. The oatmeal was creamy and a good sized portion. The prices were comparable to the other really popular breakfast spot close by.

Our server, whose name I did not get, was very friendly and efficient. So - good food, good service and good prices.

The menu had lots of choices and we will definitely go back on our next trip to try lunch or dinner.
