Fished the inner reef with our guide Keon (owner) of On the Hook fishing charters. One of the fish caught was a 15lb King Mackerel. We stopped at Pumpkin (Pompion) Caye which is private, but has arrangements with the locals to land their boats and picnic. Keon fillet the fish, set up his grill, got a nice bed of coals going and made us a first class lunch. The Caye not very big and has walkways line with conch shells. Very beautiful. After lunch we caught small bonefish and permit in the shallows which were released.

After a morning of fantastic scuba diving you will stop here and have lunch on a private island. A caretaker is on the Caye to keep the Caye looking great.

This little island is a jewel. Private island with beautifully manicured paths and a lovely beach. We saw a small nurse shark right off the beach. We chartered a snorkeling trip with Mark and he cooked an amazing lobster and conch lunch for us. Idyllic. I heard others talk about their time on Silk Caye and how busy and overcrowded it was. Pumpkin Caye did have a few visitors the day we were there, but it was not overcrowded.

This is a beautiful tiny private island. We chartered a fishing trip with capt Prince Gongora, which included a stop at this island. While there, he cooked an amazing meal with some of our catch.
