We were fortunate to find a room at Jenna's last week when our rental house near Santa Cruz became uninhabitable due to the wildfires. Despite the short notice, Jenna found us a suitable room and she, Luis, and the rest of her staff did everything to make us feel welcome. We got the last available room, and likely not the nicest, but it was comfortable enough, and everything worked all right. The breakfast was excellent, and we enjoyed getting to meet some of the guests around the breakfast table.

Anyone planning to stay at Jenna's after October 2017 should know that she is building a new complex outside town, on the road to Sta. Catterina, that she hopes to open before the year's end. At that time she will close the current B&B. The accommodations will be yurts (or "glurts" as she terms them to emphasize their glamor), and the two we saw were beautifully laid out and had fantastic views. There also will be a restaurant and bar, as well as hot tubs and gardens. It's definitely worth keeping in mind for a future visit.

I loved staying at this BnB. The room was nice and comfortable. The whole house and garden are beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious and the fact that we all had breakfast together was a great experience, getting to know more people, getting advice from others, it was an unexpected surprise. Jenna is the best. There is nothing that she can't fix or arrange for you. And she was very welcoming. We even had a glass of wine with her where the new BnB will soon be. If by the time you read this review the hotel already moved to the new location, you can be assured it is breathtaking. If I go back to Atitlan, I will stay there for sure.

We travelled to Panajachel recently as a family of 2 adults and a kid and stayed at Jenna's. This was our 4th stay at Jenna's out of 7 times we have travelled to Panajachel !!! Its like a home for us in Pana The place is simple with clean rooms, super comfy beds and amazing breakfast that includes home baked breads, fresh juice, guatemalan coffee, moroccan potatoes, varierty of chutneys, pickles etc. Jenna is an excellent host and guide, she will help you plan everything in Pana whether it be best restaurants, lake and village tours, party places etc. The place is very near to the lake and her terrace also offers partial lake view. Most of the shops, cafes, restaurants are in walkable distance. So overall, a nice place and location to choose from !

Jenna and her guesthouse are a one of a kind! We were recommended by a couple we met in Antigua, saw how good the reviews were so booked ourselves in.

Everything about the stay was perfect. The guesthouse is lovely and the terrace up the top is a real treat. Our room was spacious and nicely decorated and room service was daily. Really well situated too. Close to town and the dock.

The morning coffee is great, the home cooked breakfasts are worth getting involved with and Jenna has loads of helpful tips and contacts to make your stay as good as!

If you are in the area, it's a must!

A nice small place by the water with a roof deck with lake and sunset views. I heard fantastic things about the yurt in the garden, which was booked when we made our reservations. Our room was fine, nothing large or fancy, but certainly good for the price. There does seem to be quite a bit of ambient noise which I imagine is true throughout the area, so the smart traveler will have some ear plugs handy.

The best part of Jenna's B&B is Jenna herself who is the most lovely and accommodating hostess from the planning stages throughout the stay. We needed help getting to Pana and planning our days and she was super getting everything organized for us and making suggestions based on our preferences. When my husband was ill on the last day, she offered to move us to another room for the rest of the day even though we had already checked out. She definitely went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even showed us the new accommodations she is building a bit out of town with fabulous views.

Breakfast was really great, we had typical breakfast the first day, eggs with a lovely tomato salsa and yummy Moroccan style potatoes the second day and, my very favorite, delicious banana pancakes with molasses on the third day. Each day fresh-squeezed delicious orange juice was served along with fresh fruit (papaya and pineapple especially delicious) and nice fresh bread.

I don't believe anyone will come away from a stay here disappointed!
