Beautiful gardens with so much to see and learn! It is free which is incredible. We spend two hours here and could easily have stayed longer.

We were in Athens on Monday, April 2 and wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather so we headed to the gardens. While nice, the landscape was not as colorful as hoped for as it appears that we were between seasons. The wildflowers had already bloomed and the other spring flowers were not yet blooming. The nature trail was nice as are the gardens. The nature center was closed since it was a Monday. Not sure that I would go back.

Beautiful!
Was an excellent location for wedding. Beautiful chapel.
You should drive down to chapel to drop off women in heels and people who have trouble walking. Then drive up hill to park. Repeat process to take to greenhouse where reception is held. But walk is beautiful. We had excellent weather so walk was great. Also walk from chapel to spacious greenhouse is much more level. Wish I had gotten there earlier and walked around grounds and greenhouse more to see it all.

Several paths that are well marked, well kept, and fun for a short hike (or longer if you string a few of them together). Doable for kids, fun terrain, and nice changes in scenery. We hike these paths at about once a week and they don’t get old.

After driving cross country a visit here was a god send. What a great relaxing place to hang out and get yourself together. Grounds was well kept and the designing of the gardens was outstanding. Great little gift shop with helpful friendly staff. Even though spring has not sprung, you could see and only imagine what it would soon be like. The KUGEL, a large stone ball with the map of the world on it, was floating on a water fountain on the pavillon, was fascinating. What a great place to relax and get away from the problems of the world. Wish we could of spent more time there. A great place for the people of Athens and a must see for visitors to the area. No admission charged to get in, the place was free, what more could you ask for? Donatioins were accepted.
