We attended a rehersal dinner here on Friday night upstairs. Very rustic but good feel to it. Large bar upstairs. The pizza was delicious and the other items also.

Good thin crust pizza with interesting specialty combinations and large slices. Neat upstairs or downstairs dining. Service was a bit slow, but it was a game day.
Would definitely go back.

My 1st "1" rating on TA. It was game day in Athens, so we expected a wait even arriving 5+ hrs before the game. To be seated took about 40 mins. Okay. Then a good 15-mins before server even acknowledged us. By this point it's too late to go elsewhere on game day. We finally order a couple of slices. An hour later, they come & aren't even exactly how we ordered them. The waitress said "sorry about that." The pizza was "okay", but frankly the crust tasted kind of like a giant saltine cracker to me. Oh, & all during the hour wait, a staff person or Mgr kept leaving the store carrying box after box of large pizzas to go out the door. Guess that was part of the problem too. We won't be back.

Not a bad restaurant, but used to be better. They no longer serve pasta dishes, which were very good and set them apart from other pizzerias in Athens. Their pizza is good, but there are better options in the city.

We went to Transmetropolitan for dinner and drinks with friends, loved the high farm house tables but the service was not good and the food was terrible. Took too long to get our food and when we did it was cold, our server was completely flustered and didn't seem to know what she was doing. The Sicilian style pizza slices (on foccacia bread) sounded good but was so much bread that you couldn't even taste the toppings, the Wings were not good and the meat was still pink and the sauce tasted like it was bottled Franks hot sauce.
