Although not many visitors take the time to stop here, I'm glad to see an effort is being made to preserve this memorial to the soldiers who fought in WW1 (heck, they weren't even American citizens at the time). Why wife and I stopped there early in the morning, and hardly anyone was nearby. It was quiet and all we could hear was the ocean waves.
