It is a nice garden It is definitely interested in revenue. They have weddings there, they have a unique gift shop, and a snack shop. We went in the beginning of November when the leaves were at the end of turning. It was beautiful. The garden is medium sized. They are adding another section that should open in 2018. There was not much to see in the way of flowering plants in November but it was still beautiful. The sculptures that were on display were recycled items. They were quite creative including a polar bear, a shark, a penguin, and hanging jelly fish. They also have a floor chime which one can stand on and create music. They have a children's section which at the time we were there has a cute sculptured scare crow. There also a huge gnome in the garden which they claim is the largest in the world. Inside there is a butterfly garden that is regulated by the FDA. The area is not large but it has a lot of butterflies. You have to be let in by an attendant and you have to inspect yourself in a mirror before leaving. The garden would get in serious trouble from the FDA if a butterfly escaped. There is also another are which again which has tropical plants.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thorough and thoughtful review of Reiman Gardens. I'm pleased to hear that you enjoyed your visit while here including our traveling exhibit, Washed Ashore, featuring sculptures created from trash pulled from the ocean. I hope you'll consider a return visit in the future as things change annually based on a theme. All of the plantings as well as the sculpture exhibit are new each year.
