We had a beautiful week at this hotel in early November. The rooms were beautiful and spacious overlooked the pool and the hygiene staff were very particular. The breakfast was gorgeous with a good selection of foods, however the snack bar was quite limited and we ended up having the same thing most days. We ate out every night. Perhaps there's a greater choice during the high season. We could understand not having food in the rooms but drinking water is essential and quite expensive in the bar. It wasn't beach weather and the pool was too cold to venture in after the first brave attempt - pity.
Staff were very pleasant and at the concierge desk, ( Farid, Omar and Youssef ) particularly helpful in advice regarding an overnight trip to Marrakesh. Thank you so much to Youssef for your first aid following a minor accident on our way back to the hotel on our first night. Youssef drove us to an emergency clinic for necessary suturing, then on to a late night pharmacy for prescription and back again while educating us on the history and geography of Morocco. Would love to return.

Nice people the check in was easy the staff try to accommodate for requests. The rooms are very average rooms if your out and about everyday then its just a place to sleep then that's fine. Recommend higher level floors but make sure an air condition compressor isn't above your room as its very noisy

I arrived at the hotel at 12pm, the taxi dropped me off outside of the hotel and the concierge from the hotel came over to collect my luggage which was very nice. I was able to have an early check in, free of charge which was really good as it gave me time to shower etc. The private pool was clean, towels available and a bar with snacks and lunch opposite the pool. Nice little flower garden around the pool and pretty flowers.

All of the staff at this hotel were very welcoming and I have to say the customer service was definitely 5 star. The room was spacious and bed was comfy, shower gel and hand gel was available in the bathroom but no toothpaste. I realised 5 star in London is very different to 5 star in Morocco.

The hotel has a beach which is a 5min walk and they have hired a private space out for hotel guests only. I made use of the tennis court in the hotel on my last day and the coach showed me a few techniques - would recommend trying it out.

Only two negative things - first the Spa, it seemed to be a little outdated, the heated pool wasn't clean, the massage for half an hour wasn't the best I had. I don't think paying 450 dirhams for a package was worth the money. The other was not being allowed to bring food or drink back into the hotel, the prices for water were more expensive then outside and it would've been nice to bring back some snacks or fruit as I wasn't that fond of some of the food in in the hotel. (There aren't any snacks or fruit sold inside the hotel either)

Overall, nice hotel with lovely staff in every department.

See you soon

We went to Agadir to escape the Dublin winter, and knew that five star hotels in Morocco were not as good as similarly rated hotels in Europe. Nevertheless, we were very disappointed with this hotel.

There were two positives - the room was spacious, with a pleasant view over the pool (beware - the complex is huge, and most rooms don't have this view); and the staff in the restaurant were very pleasant - although they needed to be after our experience on our first night.

Otherwise, the hotel was seriously disappointing.

The swimming pool is unheated and unacceptably cold - one of the things we look forward to on a sun holiday is a pleasant swim - water that is no warmer than the Irish Sea is not acceptable.

The hotel advertises a number of gourmet restaurants, but none were open while we were there.

There is no entertainment - a rather bad singer with a very limited repertoire performs in the so-called "sports bar", but it would have been better without him.

More unpleasantly, we were badly treated by the hotel staff when we had a real issue.

We arrived quite late on our first evening, and looked for a restaurant. The only one open was the Pacha, which caters mainly to full board guests (we had B and B). We thought the food was quite good, until I chewed on a hard object. When I got it out of my mouth, it turned out to be a 10 cm bolt, which I think had probably fallen out of a food machine in the kitchen.

While I didn't want to make an issue of this, I felt that the hotel should do something "to make it right". Frankly, this didn't happen. After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing, our waiter eventually asked us to return the following evening, when the chef would have a "surprise" for us. This didn't suit, because we did not want to eat in the hotel. However, we also did not want to dismiss the hotel's effort, so we came back the following day. We were treated like long-lost friends (photos with the chef, head waiter, etc.) and we did get a good meal - including crayfish and fillet steak. At first, we thought we were being invited for a free meal, but we were presented with a bill for a "standard" meal.

We did notice that the bill omitted a bottle of wine - we thought this was intentional, and signed the bil

We heard nothing more, until we checked out, when we discovered the bottle of wine had been added to our bill without any discussion with us. In our view, it is unacceptable to add unsigned for items to the bill. The hotel had five days to talk to us about this, but did nothing until they tried to slip it past us at checkout. Had they talked to us, we would have been disappointed - but at least prepared.

Frontdesk staff said they were "désolée" (female staff!), but that doesn't help.!

Never again!

Room Tip: Ask for a pool-view room

We loved our stay and would recommend the hotel. The pool area is huge but the water is quite cold. The traditional Moroccan food restaurant serves exquisite food especially the lamb tagines but so expensive. The staff are very polite especially at the restaurant and by the pool. You get sold so many excursions but the only one I would recommend would be the city tour.
