Nice little place to sit right in the medina and people watch! The lad who served us was really friendly and fast. Great Moroccan salads and the taboulé was delish! Highly recommend for lunch :)

One in our party is allergic to wheat and we found two excellent dishes without it, the baked chicken and the crispy beef. Nice people, good service, delicious food.

We stopped in for lunch while shopping in the medina. This restaurant was recommended by our riad owner and he joined us for lunch too. We were grateful for the variety of vegetarian choices as our family was getting tired of just the limited vegetable tagine available in most places. We had the tasty vegetable pastilla and the yummy taboulleh salad. The desserts were also great, especially the chocolate brownie and fruit crumble!

My friend and I had such a great time here!! We were on our 9th day in Morocco and pretty tired of eating skewers and tajine, so the menu here was a welcome change. The shop is cute and clean, and the prices are actually reasonable. While I was seated outside drinking my nos-nos, my friend got henna done across the street and returned just in time for the food.

It was pretty slow when we were there, so we got to chat with the chef/owner Hamza, who was super sweet and friendly. His younger cousin(?) was helping wait the tables, and we properly embarrassed him when we caught him jamming out to some music behind us during the downtime. It was an all-around pleasant dining experience.

Although I wouldn't say it's a destination spot to eat, if you're unsure about where to do your lunch in the middle of wandering through all the leather and miscellaneous Moroccan goods stores, Le Tarbouche is an excellent choice, especially if you're not in the mood for round three of couscous. If I remember correctly (we got pretty turned around in Fez), it's pretty close to the blue gate.

We walked by this restaurant and it looks so inviting and we decided to have our late lunch here. The food is excellent! Definitely recommend the crispy beef! One of the better food we’ve had in Morocco considering the taste and the price. The little boy who serves us is really kind too. Very friendly. Definitely recommended!
