My wife and I love sushi and found that this place was the best out of the 2 or three other places we have tried
Very pricy but really delicious! Make sure you check their opening times so you don't show up too early for dinner.

Thank Brendon W

Food was not that great and overprised. Only one menu to choose per evening. Good wine selection! Great decor and atmosphere. Nice and friendster staff.

We had pad Thai and a salmon hand roll. The pad Thai had good seasoning and flavor, but the noodles were overcooked and a soggy, slimy mess. The chef could really benefit from someone showing him how to cook noodles in a Thai style. The salmon hand roll had a lot of small bones in it, indicating that the cut of meat is much cheaper than the standard sushi filet cuts. But otherwise the taste and portions were great

The ambiance was great and the staff are super friendly.

My boyfriend and I visited KaiTai for our anniversary a few weeks ago, and it didn't disappoint (for Morocco.) We've lived here for a while tried pretty much every sushi place we can find to get our sushi fix- and this was the best so far. Don't be surprised if they don't have tuna or sub the tuna for what seems like canned - so stick to salmon based dishes (probably safer anyways for travellers!) Expect decent rolls - nothing fancy or entirely fabulous. A good choice for those sick of tagine and seeking a nicer spot.

P.s. it serves wine!!

This is a good example of a restaurant that doesn't need to be good to get good reviews because there is nothing really to compare it in the area. The decor is impressive and exudes modern high end luxury throughout: dark tones, angular shapes and well thought out wall art--the prep kitchen on the second level is curiously on proud display through a large glass floor to ceiling window.

Once seated though, there are is one thing that one notices straight away which begins to peel the cover and expose what this place is really like: the chopsticks are the cheap disposable type.

The waiter did not ask us firstly what we wanted to drink. We ordered our food and the drinks were an afterthought. The menu, which was mechanically arranged with photos of each dish was very difficult to read because of the tiny type. This presentation did not make the food look appetizing to say the least. The miso soup was a weird red colour and came in a large square bowl and a metal spoon, making it impossible to sip from.
The yakitori combo came with grilled shrimp which was excruciatingly rubbery and surely frozen. The teriyaki chicken was also very tough. The combo sushi roll menu also included a variety of SINGLE pieces of various rolls, which begs to ask where the other portions of the roll came from or went to. The vegetable tempura was abysmal, as the batter was of the type they use in fish and chips and was flat and dense.

All in all the meal was only USD$30 for 2 and it the only reason why this got a 2 star rating as opposed to 1 star.
