“Perfect place to stay in Marrakech”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 January 2012

Wonderful little Riad in the heart of the medina, round the corner from the Saadian tombs and walking distance to everything you want to see in Marrakech. The Riad is a small oasis amongst the hubbub of the busy streets, with a rooftop terrace that looks over the Atlas mountains with a jacuzzi and bar. The food is the main selling point, with fantastic traditional moroccan dishes, all of which are freshly made and healthy...and huge portions! You won't find better in Marrakech.

We stayed at La Villa Marrakech because a friend recommended it to us. After staying here we have decided that we now owe our friend a big favour! We have stayed in a wide variety of hotels and villas around the world but this is our first Tripadvisor review, in fact, we hesitated about giving a review at all as we would prefer to keep this one all to ourselves.
The standard at La Villa Marrakech is very high and as a guest one feels very cared for. In fact, it was like staying with friends - the team are welcoming and attentive and they even tolerated our extremely basic [school] French- with a smile! The evening meals were absolutely fantastic and kept us from venturing out to the local restaurants as often as the Tourism Ministry would have wanted. Breakfast was a delight and Olivier's croissants were the most delicious we have ever had. It was fantastic and we are already planning a return visit with our entire family in tow!
Ps: If you stay here you must try the Hammam.

I recently stayed at La Villa Marrakech for the second time and I'm already looking forward to my next visit. A stunning property ideally located and perfect for exploring Marrakech. Very high standard of accomodation with excellent facilities particularly the excellent pool and sun deck.

My wife and I are regular Marrakech visitors and each time staying in an different place. We finally found at La Villa Marrakech what we are looking for: affordable luxury. The service is discreet yet always available, accomodations are top class (clean and on the par with Mamounia where westayed last year), the table is by far the best in town as everything is done in house ( I own restaurants in London and LVM deserves a Star ) and finally the owners are very helpful and welcome you as if it was your own home.
We are already returning next year.

Room Tip: Amber Suite is the best room.

Usually we don't bother to write reviews about holidays or weekend trips away. But here, we will make an exception as our stay at La Villa Marrakech was just that - exceptional!! Simone and Olivier and their close team made us feel welcome right from the start - we felt like nothing was ever too much for them. Our room was beautiful; elegant without being fussy, comfortable and relaxing. The food, well, we even arranged to eat there twice after being defeated in the search to find a restaurant on a par with the deliciously homemade, authentic, Morrocan cuisine. (I am working for the UK Hotel Industry and I am a kind of foodie so I think you can trust me)
Olivier and Simone's own experience of Marrakech really help you to create your own trip - you won't need your tour guide, they know the good places!
Somehow, here, in the heart of the Kasbah, they made magic.

Room Tip: Ivory room for a couple is very comfortable (we stayed in this room) but I don't think that tip...
