Description: In the medina of marrakech, in the chaos of tangled alleys, suddenly, over a carved wooden door, a world unexpected. The patio shaded by lemon trees, a music descends from the sunny terraces and the scent of the best italian cuisine. The Restaurant & Cafe I Limoni offer a relaxing corner in a vintage flavor with a touch of modern design. You can listen to selections of the best music of the past and present while enjoying the traditional tuscan dishes of fish and meat, or just a club sandwich of crispy fries. We are open from 11.30 am to 15.30 and 18.30 to re-open for drinks with dinner and to continue until after midnight with music and cocktails.

We were staying at a Riad just a few paces away and spotted this gorgeous place on our first night. It's Italian and worth the visit. After a few days of embracing local Moroccan food we welcomed the change on our final night and we weren't disappointed.

We hadn't prebooked but it was a Monday night however still very busy which was nice. The setting is very romantic and beautiful. It's an old Riad so the main seating area is in the middle courtyard surrounded by lovely lit trees.

The menu was broad with lots of choices and a substantial specials board. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Still found it strange not being able to order wine with the meal but that's the culture which you have to embrace.

Food was great. I had beef carpaccio to start and the portion was huge followed by gnocchi which was lovely. And then let's not forget dessert which was Tiramisu - yum! But there were loads of choices.

A definite go to if you fancy some European food.

We went here last minute and had a lovely meal, very pretty restaurant and good food. No alcohol and the meal seemed to be over very quickly, we were I,n and out in 45 minutes
Really enjoyed it but just over a little quickly, maybe due to lack of wine, not sure why

The four of us stumbled into this little gem while walking through the old Madina. The food was delicious, service was great and the location was stunning. Couldn't recommend more.

Must haves:
The chicken escalope
Pesto and zucchini tagliatelle
The pistachio ice cream
