Nice but way too crowded to enjoy yourself. Nothing special if you are not really into history and arts.

The Moorish architecture and interiors are endlessly fascinating to us and we wandered through the rooms marvelling at the incredible ceilings and intricate tilework and frescoes - definitley worth a visit.

I admit I wasn't expecting so much beauty. The details on walls, ceilings, windows, floors.. are absolutely magnificent. All is very well kept. I wondered around the garden and rooms taking all in. It was a very beautiful visit. I do recommend of course!

So many others have summed this up. It is easy to get to, off the Jemma el-Fnaa main square, just a little into the Medina. Well worth the 10 Diram. It was pretty busy when we got there just before 10am.

It was used until 1961 as a Royal Palace and there are lots of rooms with really nice ceilings, courtyards and gardens. Give yourself an hour to enjoy it.
