Fatima the owner is an absolute delight & couldn't do enough for us. It felt like home but better! Not far from Bab Mansour, & major tourist attractions & walking distance to grand taxi stands for Azrou/Fes & for or Moulay Idriss/Volubilis. Would not stay anywhere else if we came again.

Fatima met us at the Bab Mansour when we arrived, showed us where to park, and took us to her Riad in the old Medina. It is 1 alley off the main alley in the Medina, so it is nice and quiet but close to the busy area. Fatima oriented us, gave us a history of the Amazigh culture and background. We took the rooftop room, which was spacious and there was plenty of hot water for the shower. (Note: dont expect 5 star type accommodations; but the accommodations are comfortable; and it is the host and staff that make this so much more than an impersonal 5 star hotel). Fatima went out of her way to show us around, take us to a nice pizza place (had got tired of Tajine by now). We requested vegetable omelettes for breakfast, and Fatima and Hannah had those prepared for us; fresh piping hot, with cafe and fresh squeezed orange juice of course.
Great place to stay at, Very warm hosts.

Our stay at Riad Amazigh was delightful. Fatima, the owner and our lovely host, was willing to pick us up from Bab Mansour where we arrived. When we arrived at the riad she told us we could have a free upgrade of our room. We stayed at the room on the rooftop, which was great. It's spacious, clean and perfect to relax after visiting the crowded medina.
When we went out for dinner and we were trying to find the place we wanted to go on the map, Fatima told us no problem and walked us there.

We had a breakfast on the rooftop, served by the lady working for Fatima. She, like Fatima did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Would definitely recommend staying at Riad Amazigh when visiting Meknes!
Thank you Fatima and your great staff!

Best in Morocco! Fantastic location in the medina with short walking distance to various attractions and restaurants. Very cozy and tasteful interior but most of all the most friendly and helpful staff you can imagine, especially the owner Fatima!
We hope to come back one day!
Thank you : )

Room Tip: We stayed in the top floor which was lovely and close to the terrace where we enjoyed a lovely breakfast.

Our stay at the Riad Amazigh was filled with serendipity. Fatima, the owner, not only is a fantastic host but she attracts interesting clients and has the ability to bring out the best in everyone.

On arrival, our first day in Morocco, we had to get some rest. When we awakened we were invited to join and watch the filming of a segment for a documentary on Love in the Berber (Amazigh) culture. Participating were a French producer and film crew, a famous Amazigh folk-singer, an Amazigh movie star, and numerous Amazigh professionals and activists. What an amazing evening that concluded with three circles of people sitting on the floor eating couscous and conversing until about 1 AM.

On day two, the film crew gone, a group of French artists and painters arrived to begin collaborating on an exhibit to be presented in Morocco later in the month. What a stimulating adventure. During the day we saw the sites and visited the medina. Every other free moment was an interaction with beautiful, sharing, generous, creative people.

Our room, the common areas, the food, and the guidance were top notch. Thank you Fatima, Hennan, Zainab, Mustafa, and all the artists who contributed to a wonderful stay. I am sure that Fatima can help you with all your needs. Do not forget to go up on the roof for great views and atmosphere

Room Tip: The riad is very nicely furnished and very comfortable. Fatima has done an amazing job of interior decorating
