I booked this hotel for a while back when I was visiting Dar and had the opportunity. I do like the fact that it is right off Morogoro Rd and in a convenient place close to the regional bus-stand. and a few minutes drive to the airport (depending on time of day).

Room Tip: Good if you are on the go and boarding buses from Ubungo Bus Terminal and the UDART - Rapid Transit

If you can, please get another hotel. The breakfast was average,The power was intermittent, the hotel runs on a generator which occasionally "needs to rest"... the lift never worked so get ready to climb several flights of stairs, there was no hot/warm water..the rooms were big and spacious, but the ac also stopped working at some point. The front office and staff there could also use some ettiqutte training as they were unpleasant when it came to airing complaints.

I was here on a group event, we came in late at night from our flights to Dar. The dinner was a small selection and was cold when we went to eat. The rooms were spacious for one person. Me and my 3 friends each had our own rooms but ended up sharing a bed between all 3 of us because we were scared (three teenagers in a foreign country who arrived at 1am ). We were on the 12th floor but the elevators were broken and they only went to the 9th. It was an small inconvenience because we had 5 big pieces of luggage that we had to carry up and down flights of stairs. I'm sure if we had arrived in the daytime it would've been a bit better of an experience but it was okay for the price, the staff was friendly and helped as much as possible.

The church nearby starts very early even on weekdays and is very loud. Wireless Internet is also not working in my room. Elevators on one side were out of order , you have to climb the stairs for 11 to 13th floors.

Staff at the hotel and more particularly at the restaurant were being very dishonest. Only expensive dishes were available and if you want to eat something cheaper you would still have to pay the price of a more expensive dish. They were also being very dishonest with the conversion rate which was higher that the current official one.
Hotel located in a very noisy area, as there is a church in which singing is happening at any hour or the day or night, so don't plan to get much sleep.
Located about 12 km from the airport but due to constant traffic jam it took us 1h20 to reach the airport (with an excellent taxi driver who knew every possible shortcut).
I was also supposed to be picked up at the airport but nobody was there waiting when I arrived to the airport. Not very reliable.
