Ask for lobster... so cheap, so good!

Be careful of water currents around the corner beach on the mainland side of Mbudya island... they can be treacherous.

Do make sure you give the fish and chips a try. Also look out for the bushpath behind the baobab tree. Well worth it in my view

Very easy to arrange motorized boat from Kuduchi Beach Resort, the island was not very busy the day we were there (weekday). Not great snorkeling from the shore, swimming was nice (there was some seaweed, but not too much), sandy beach, can buy beers/drinks, and order fresh catch for lunch upon arrival (had lobster and fish with chips). No other options for food, and we never could find an actual bar, just people who would bring you beverages. There are nice shade structures that you can pay to sit under, and the lounge chairs are mostly in functional, but poor repair.

Have been there only once. It was crowded compared to Bongoyo Island however, the beach area is long and big enough for everyone. The food was worth the price. The waves get bigger as it gets late and the water rises. Same happens in Bongoyo island however it seems to be less wavy. It is a place to go on weekend or sunday and i advise to go there in the morning from whitesands (it is cheaper than Slipway).
