Wow- we wished we had found Voigtland at the beginning of our holiday. It was fabulous. It's close to Windhoek and the airport
The service, the accommodation, the food- not to mention the warthog and Hartebeest.
A working farm capturing the essence of Namibia. We will be back

Based on the fact of the positive recommendations we choose to stay at Guesthouse Voigtland.
It was definitely the right choice and we were really sad that we had to leave this place to continue our trip.
If you arrive here you are diving right into Namibia's perfect hospitality, service and landscape.
The hosts and the staff are welcoming and friendly and the dinner and breakfast were delicious. As we forgot that eastern holidays are also in Namibia and we planned to make a camping road trip all shopping markets were closed over the weekend. Thanks to Gabi and team we received a food package even for barbecue to survive the first days.
At our last day backup host Max cooked a wonderful meal for us. Just great. The location is right between the airport and Windhoek with swimming pool and enough space to relax. Wonderful rooms great view. If you have the time is worth to stay longer.

Sadly we arrived at dusk so missed seeing the farm as we had an early flight the next morning. But Gaby & Stefan created an unforgettable dinner of oryx filet that melted in your mouth along with appetizers & dessert. A wonderful end to our 2 weeks in Namibia! The rooms are lovely with very modern bathrooms, I hope to go back someday to really enjoy this special place. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and gracious! Highly recommend this lovely guesthouse. We had to leave before breakfast for an early flight, but Stefan made coffee for us!

A stunning stay on a stud farm in beautiful surroundings with lovely hosts. Both our bedroom and bathroom were large and well fitted. Our meal in the evening was very nice but perhaps a trifle expensive compared with the rest of our trip. The friendliness of the owners compensated!

What a lovely guesthouse. I wish we had been able to stay more than one night. The owners are delightful and welcoming. Perfect hospitality. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Dinner was delicious and served in a serene, beautiful room. It was a special treat for two city slickers to stay on a working farm with big, beautiful bovines roaming about as well as donkeys, sweet dogs and pretty cats. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
