We visited the place in order to have Nepali meals, and we didn't regret it.
The place is big and has several seating areas: Nepali-wise and non Nepali-wise.
The menu is rich with Nepali meals and drinks.
The service is good, the prices are also reasonable.
We had a good time there.. worth a visit although a bit touristic place.
A pretty good choice for high quality local food in Kathmandu. Enjoyed my mutton dish a lot. They bring you lots of small things to taste too. Wanted more from the atmosphere as it did not really live up to its vibrant reputation
Although the building and garden restaurant were beautiful the food was not up to scratch. Furthermore, portions were small and prices high. Last but not least there was a terrible stench from a gas bottle leak.
We opted for the set "tastes of Nepal" menu which proved to be a great choice. Small portions of many of the dishes on the a la carte were served in a friendly and efficient manner.
It was so good we went back for a second visit.
