Description: Himalayan Pizza was created with the intention to feast the senses of those who have a desire for good food with a unique entertaining atmosphere. We hope you leave with a smile and one day return with a friend.Himalayan Pizza celebrates Italy not just gastronomically but also artistically. Beyond doubt the Renaissance and Baroque eras were the most powerful times in history for Italian Arts. We have chosen 10 great Italian artists to accompany your dining experience. These are: Sandro Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Caravaggio, Artemisia Gentileschi, Antonio Vivaldi, Farinelli, Giuseppe Verdi and Giacomo Puccini. We have a pleasant sunny garden where you can enjoy fresh air, plants and flowers and listen to Italian Classical music. Our brick oven is specifically designed and build for maximum outcome. The base tomato sauce and the dough are made fresh everyday and carefully measured with the necessary ingredients to provide you with the best pizza you’ve ever tasted! We bring you a taste of Italy with the most favourite and popular Nepali snacks. Try our yummy Bolognaise Momos or the Rosemary Potatoes! Why 108? Because 108 is a very special number! Tibetan Buddhist malas (or rosaries) consist of 108 beads and the reciting of mantras (prayers) for 108 times is considered very sacred. It is written that Bodhisattva Mahamati asked Buddha 108 questions, and it is stated that Buddha lists 108 statements of negation. In Japan, at the end of the year a bell is chimed 108 times in Buddhist temples to finish the old year and welcome the new one. Each ring represents the 108 earthly temptations a person must overcome to achieve Nirvana. In Hinduism, the deities have 108 names, while in Gaudiya Viashnavism (the worship of Vishnu), there are 108 gopis (cow-herd girls) in the Indian town of Vrindavan, childhood place of Krishna. On more scientific terms, the distance of the Sun from the Earth divided by the diameter of the Sun, and the distance of the Moon from the Earth divided by the diameter of the Moon, is equal to 108.

You get food at any time of the Day but the service and people are very BAD.. They don't serve Tabasco and are ready to put up a fight for no reason

Great pizza and great vibe. Good music n cocktails. Plus it's 24 hours! The only place in thamel to open so late. Music is jazz, classic hip hop n rnb. Only place to play such musics.

Himalayan Pizza is one of the very few restaurants providing 24 hr pizza delivery service around Thamel. There is an option of indoor or outdoor seating and even a bar to hang out! 108 kinds of pizzas are served! Himalayan pizza has been creative enough to maintain its original Italian cuisine and at the same time introduced the Himalayan pizzas which make use of local ingredients and get their names from the Himalayas Mountains and villages.

Italian pizzas are freshly made using original ingredients which are found in a typical Italian pizzeria as if you are in Italy! The fire wood pizzas are served right from the hot brick ovens giving the aroma and bringing out the best texture and flavors of a real pizza. The dish Antipasto is also available which is pretty much rare to find in Kathmandu.

For those who have a sweet tooth, fruit and sweet pizzas are also served using seasonal fruits of Nepal. And those wanting to experiment their taste buds, go for the Fusion Himalayan Pizzas or you can stick to the Classic Italian pizzas-whatever it is, Himalayan Pizza is there for you! Enjoy!
