Hotel was very clean as well as the room. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Even though being there for first time people there made me feel like I been there regularly.
Though I didn't spend too much time in the town, staff there left a great impression on us! Our sheets, towels and surfaces of desk, counter and bathroom were all regularly cleaned during our stay.

Room Tip: Cozy rooms

Good service, quick responder and helpful, but you have to ask for it. The location is in the tourist hot spot of Kathmandu with reasonable price. Breakfast is available though not that much good! But it seems okay with the price.

Room Tip: ask them to provide

Hotel Pilgrims has the friendliest and most helpful staff of anywhere I’ve ever stayed on my travels. The breakfast is included with the rooms and it was always delicious with plenty of healthy and vegetarian options. They also have a small coffee shop inside that will make the best lattes and espresso drinks ever. The rooms are comfortable with A/C units and hot showers. The real hidden gem of this hotel is the rooftop terrace though. It offers views of the Kathmandu valley and a nice place to escape from the busy bustle below on the streets. It’s also centrally located in Thamel making getting around for last minute shopping before treks, dining around, window shopping, and exploring the city easy-peasy. Like I said, the hotel staff was SUPER helpful and always willing to show guests around and make suggestions. The owners are also very friendly and knowledgeable of the treks. They can help set up very affordable tours around the city with a driver and a guide if you’d like one. Bhaktapur was incredible! I highly recommend giving this hotel a try if you’re searching for a great value hotel in Thamel.

The staff went out of their way to help us out and make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms, foyer and hotel were clean, tidy and cosy. The hotel is in a great location, close to all of the touristy sites of Kathmandu. I really got to know Sandeep Bhatta well; he was one of our guides when we went hiking to Everest Base Camp . He is such a fun and helpful guy! Both the Bhatta brothers were great! We had a fantastic time at Hotel Pilgrims.
