The staff at this hotel were very accommodating. We took a night bus to Kathmandu, arriving early in the morning. They let us check in early with no problems. The rooms were very clean and staff was friendly and helpful throughout entire stay. The only downfall was the active pigeons right outside our window, otherwise everything was great.Thank you!

After having stayed in budget guesthouses for 2 weeks, we decided to go for a midrange hotel on our last 2 nights in Nepal. You can find the lovely 'Hotel Mums Home' in a quiet and dust free little street in Thamel. Our room was clean and spacious, the shower area is separated from the rest of the bathroom with a (slightly moldy) shower curtain, toiletries are provided and the toilet flushes just fine :-). There's no elevator in the hotel, but the staff was kind enough to carry our luggage to the 4th floor.

For breakfast there's a nice buffet and eggs are prepared on the spot. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. We got offered a free taxi ride to the airport and a 'safe journey' scarf at departure.

That began with a care from scratch, from Airport!! Picked me up in time with a welcome scarf, they call it “Khadaa”. Great hospitality, great space, great care!! Smiling and friendly Nepali staff let you feel your home. Location and surrounding peaceful!! They won me !! I recommend this hotel for future travellers :-) !!
