This is a really nice apartment that sleep 8 people in a 4 bedroom 2 bath. It is nicely appointed but not fancy. Very comfortable. The beds are hard, but sleepable. Suncity Apartments are not completely finished, they are still working, so when you enter the building you will wonder what kind of place is this. Once you realize they are still building you will be okay. They have security on the grounds, and they will help you to your apartment. Their is a security gate as well that is maned. The Apartment is on the 13th floor. okay as long as the elevator is working. We had to walk down the stairs once. The man that owns the apartment Mr. Shah, will meet you, make sure you hear all the details. The water and food that is in the apartment is NOT, left over from previous residents, Mr. Shah will charge you for eating and drinking the items in the kitchen. The main complaint is the Car Service, that is recommend to you. I have to say, it is very important to have a car/driver, as it is very difficult to naviagate your way around Kathmandu area, traffic is terrible to say the least. Get a Car and Driver. However, we were not treated fairly, and were nickled and dimed. We rented the Car/Driver for 8 days contracted, and when we arrived they said they had booked the car out for 10 days and we had to pay although we didn't use it. Didn't make for a great start. The Airport was closed we could not get into Kathmandu, we notified our representative a day before we were to arrive to NOT pick us up, unitl we can get in because of the airline being shut down, however Mr. Shah said he rented the car for the orginal day we were to arrive. Make no sense when you know the Airport was closed and was informed we would not be arriving, again, we did this a day ahead of orginal due date. But that is how they operate, to get money out of you. Then the gas, you will be responsable for the Gas, which is fine, but upon departure you get hit with a gas bill that was NOT told to you prior, another way to get more money out of you before you leave. So, I say to you, rent the apartment, just be ware of the additional costs they will try to get out of you. In fact, don't rent the car though them. Try for a another private company. And enjoy Nepal, remember, Nepal has rolling electricity, some times you will have lights, and some times you will not. And don't drink the water, drink only bottled water that the cap is sealed, watch the foods you eat, don't eat off the street, eat in resturants you should be fine.
