We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of a 2 week holiday in Thailand. This is the perfect hotel to unwind in after a long trip back from the islands and is also in the perfect location to explore Bangkok from, situated only a 5 minute walk from the Sky Train, you can be on the river in 10 minutes, at the Chatachak Market in 20 minutes, and at the airport in 40 minutes.

I can see why people are happy to stay here on a long term basis as the rooms are hugely comfortable and well furnished. In addition, the service is both friendly and quick, unlike some other places in Bangkok !

Overall, a great place to base your sight seeing from, i would reccomend this to friends and family in a heartbeat ! Will be staying here on my next trip to Bangkok !

Thanks !

Pleasant surprise, on arrival we had been upgraded from a studio to a one room apartment. Large bedroom and full bathroom. Kitchen, big lounge room with desk and lounge chairs. Whole apartment is tastefully decorated. A continental breakfast was delivered each morning. The hotel is located a couple of blocks back from Silom Road and the Skytrain so there is easy access to Siam Square and the Central World and Siam Paragon Shopping Centres. There is no shortage of restaurants in this area and the Patpong Night Market is also is also within walking distance. Wi Fi was available in the room and we found the staff very obliging. Free parking was available under the hotel for our Thai friends when they came to visit.

Am not one to like being stuck in a hotel in the Sukhomvit area. So to be in Soi Saladaeng right between Silom and Sathorn a great location wise. And the BTS and underground are a 5 minute walk away.
This hotel is like serviced apartments that get rented out on a daily basis. The rooms were renovated a few years back and are reasonably fitted out and quite sizable.
I have stayed here on and off for nearly 10 years. However, the bad news is that the service is now abominable. The staff hardly speaks English and anything you ask for you just don't get. Plain and simple as that. A shame, cause with the right people in there this could be the little gem that is was many moons ago.

Great value for money. Paid around 2000 B for a room that was way too big. Great central location. Good Italian resto downstairs, I'm told by friends, but I wouldn't know because I only eat local food.

I really like this area of Bangkok. It's in the heart of the city and easy to get around to other parts of the city because of the Skytrain.

Saladaeng Colonnade is one of several full-service apartment hotels in the area. Although it doesn't have the high rise views of the others, it is definitely well worth the price. The apartments have been recently renovated. Everything is clean, the staff quite accommodating, and the apartments are more spacious than many people's homes.

I see that other guests have complained about wi-fi and poor quality towels and linens. This was not our experience

Although it is quite inexpensive to eat in Bangkok's many great restaurants, there is a Tops supermarket within 2 blocks of the building so one can stock up on snacks and whatever.

I will agree with the other gay poster that the massage place on Convent Road is well worth the trip.
