I ate duck here which was gorgeous and great value, right next to the river and with traditional thai dancing for entertainment. Was a wonderful night

Went here for a late lunch just because it was right next to our hotel. The waiters were all very pleasant and helpful but unfortunately there were a few problems with some of the food and the fruit shake we ordered was not very nice. It was a shame. This is a fairly low quality restaurant. Certainly not somewhere you'd set out to go to but more somewhere you'd end up at just for the convenience. Based on our experience though, there are much better restaurants in the vicinity. If you are planning ahead, choose somewhere else.

we had dinner there on the New Year’s Eve. It locates just in the first floor of the shopping center River City. The service is good and the cuisine is just OK. You can sit and enjoy the riverside view. But the price is a little high for its location so near Sheraton and River City.

This restaurant was close by our hotel, and it has a great setting on the riverside. The prices are reasonable with most dishes averaging between 200 to 500 Baht. The food is the traditional tourist fare, a cross between Western and Thai/Asian. We sampled the Thai menu, having Pad Thai, Crispy shrimp with chilli sauce and roast duck with slices of pickled ginger. The food was ok without being anything much out of the ordinary. I have had as good or better back home in Australia. The position was excellent though, as we were seated riverside. Watching the traffic of boats on the river in the evening was a nice setting for our first meal in Bangkok. The staff were ok without being particularly attentive. However, they are very keen to let you know ad nauseam that the restaurant closes at 9.30pm. On that point they are very attentive indeed! Really makes you feel welcome...not.
