We recently visited Thailand for the first time and while planning accommodation out in Chiang Mai or down on the islands is relatively easy, the choices in Bangkok were a little more confusing. They seemed to come down to either a modern/skyscraper/hotel or some sort of B&B which is a little daunting?
We selected the Bhuthorn completely on the basis of internet-reviews and were pleased with our choice.
In busy, noisy and sometimes overwhelming Bangkok, this tiny hotel is an oasis of peace and quite, it’s located off the main thoroughfares, in a small square of private homes and it really left us with the feeling of staying with friends.
The room & bathroom were spotlessly clean, afternoon refreshments (like teas & ice creams) were a treat and we followed all kinds of excellent local recommendations.
Access is easy using the ubiquitous tuktuks and internet communication was seamless.
We would highly recommend this beautiful little place to anyone who wants to visit Bangkok but doesn't want to be just another guest on the 3oth floor of some faceless hotel in the business distract.
If we visit Bangkok again we'll certainly be coming back!

The Bhuthorn is a tiny hotel - just a few rooms, but all kept to a high standard. The location in the old part of the city is perfect - just five minutes from the Grand Palace and easy walking distance from many interesting and varied temples and other places of interest.
The owners and staff of the Bhuthorn can not do enough for their guests, from afternoon tea when you really need a cooling drink and a snack, to making sure that everything is just right for a memorable stay. The Thai breakfast was delicious and different every morning. We would definitely recommend this delightful little hotel to anyone intending to visit Bangkok.

Room Tip: The Bhuthorn room is delightful with a four poster bed and traditional furnishings.

The Bhuthorn is small, high quality hotel with exceptional staff. The location is fantastic for all that you could want. An oasis in a busy city and highly recommended. We couldn't have wished for more. Keep up the good work.

I enjoyed my stay in the Bhuthorn, a small boutique hotel close to What Po. The whole place is decorated in a very nice manner. Service is friendly and very professional. Ask for the Thai breakfast!

We stay at the Bhuthorn for the end of our honeymoon and we couldn't be more pleased. The inn keeper/ owner takes great pride in maintaining the Bhuthorn in perfect condition and providing highest level of service. She even saw it was my husband's birthday and slid a card under our door.

I would highly recommend this B&B and would definitely come back.
