Best hotel I've ever stayed in!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 4 Nov 2014via mobile
I am very impressed with this hotel.

Located just beside Siam Paragon and a few more shopping malls.

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The always created conversations with us when they saw us, asking us how was our day, do we need any suggestions on where to go etc.

Our room was huge! It had a living room, a small kitchen, walk in wardrobe and a bathroom that was as big as the room!! Omg!!

Overall, the hotel was worth the money, very classy, clean and with great service.

Definitely will recommend this hotel to my friends!

Having stayed in many Bangkok hotels, we thought we’d try the Siam Kempinski before flying out for our holiday in the Maldives.

Initially, we booked the hotel because of its proximity to the Siam Paragon shopping mall and its connecting walkway. I also had stayed in the Jakarta Kempinski on a business trip and wanted to see a comparison.

We were not disappointed in any way.

The Siam Kempinski is a beautiful luxury hotel throughout from the opulent reception area, vast pool/garden area and tasteful restaurants and bars. The cakes and pastries are pure heavenly.

We booked a Club room and enjoyed all that the club floor offered with its food and refreshments. Equally, the club floor room was all we expected with its refinements, ambience and facilities. If we had a minor criticism, it was that the TV sport channels didn’t include the Premier League football for my husband. Our room also offered 9 different types of high quality pillows to ensure a good and restful night’s sleep. The shower cubicle was large and the water pressure excellent and constant with its temperature.

We opted to go down to the main breakfast restaurant instead of having breakfast in the club room purely because we wanted to experience a wider choice. There was an extensive choice of cheese, cold meats, salads and fish: tuna and smoked salmon, breads and pastries. The Europe breakfasts were cooked to order and the eggs Florentine was perfectly cooked.

Clearly this hotel understands how breakfasts should be served, and it was so good not to have to put up with a luke warm, dry and poorly cooked buffet breakfast most other hotels offer.
Having the hotel connected to Siam paragon we were able to shop and take our shopping back to the hotel, have a coffee and pastry on the club floor and then resume our shopping marathon again. We live outside Bangkok, so always have a lot of shopping to do for the family.

The service at the hotel was excellent with a real attention to detail in every way.

All in all, we would thoroughly recommend the Siam Kempinski to anyone staying in Bangkok whether it is for the shopping connection or just to experience a relaxing time at the wonderful hotel it is.

We will certainly stay there again.

Room tip: None, I would imagine all the rooms to be excellent.

My husband and I stay four nights here to celebrate out anniversary. We absolutely love everything about his hotel, from their ginger-lily scented soap to their salt water pool.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of shopping center district where you could shop ‘til you drop, but still quite isolated from all the street noise and commotion. Siam Paragon is just across the street, whereas Siam Discovery, Central World, and various other malls are within walking distance from the hotel. You could also make use of Siam BTS, which is connected to Siam Paragon, to access various attractions in Bangkok.

The service was excellent; we were deeply touched by their attentiveness. The guest relations manager left a handwritten card with cakes and fresh flowers to congratulate us on our anniversary. The staffs were also very great; they showed genuine concern on our needs and proactively asked how they can help us.

The food was the only thing they could improve. It was really delicious; I would like to recommend everyone to try their signature breakfast dish; Siam Florentine, but the menu stayed pretty much identical during our four nights stay. We tried to alternate our breakfast restaurant (Brasserie Europa and Niche), but they have similar menu aside from specialty stall in each restaurant. It would be really great if they could add more choice.

We really enjoy our stay with Siam Kempinski and will definitely be back if we have the chance.

This is our 4th stay at this hotel. We keep coming back here because of the convenience location.

When you only have a few days in Bangkok and you don't want to travel to go anywhere. This hotel is the answer for you.

One thing I don't like is the light system! It's silly in my opinion that you can't turn on or off the light individually. It's all controled by the master switch so it can be quite annoying.
