Stayed here during soft opening.
The potential for this property to be in the top three for Bangkok is close at hand.
Room - Just wonderful - overlooking the park. Fantastic bathrooms, delightful bed and linen.
Of course the St Regis butler is on hand to draw the bath, coffee wake up call, offer any assistance.
Restaurants were in soft opening mode - but the breakfast was a great start to the fun in Bangkok.
If you have the budget, and you want the St Regis care - stay here! I dont think you will find a fault.
Suggestion - go to the pool, order a St Regis Bloody Mary.... relax.... swim. A great City hotel.

I was at the hotel bar last weekend and service was bad. The bar is quite huge with 3 sections but less service staffs. I have to wait for long time to order my drink. Staffs have poor product knowledge. All were not meet the St. Regis's standard. I'm disappointed staying here.

Staying at the St. Regis Grand Deluxe Room with my kid for the whole 5 days trip was truly the best choice. The exceptional service starts even before my arrival. Their friendly email reminder for bedding preference is received before my departure.

On arrival, we are greeted by friendly concierge staff and check-in instantly. Room and bed are both huge even for my energetic kid. Upscale, modern design with fine details, such as the coffee table top and closet door, reflecting unique classic style. Services is the best! Staffs at front desk, concierge, butler service are all very friendly and truly helpful... complimentary birthday cake when we are back at night, nice packing service when we are only asking for box for my kid's newly purchased books, extra bottle water (6 bottles) every day after we ask for the extra at the 1st night....warm greeting from butler and assistant manager after the doc visit....... and we are escorted by the concierge staff to the BTS station with a pool umbrella when the downpour and welcome at the staircase of the BTS when we return....

We have been Peninsula, Mandarin Oriental, Alila, Banyan Tree hotel at different places, St Regis is the exceptional services I have experienced. All in all, you sure can find other hotels with better rooms and facilities, but services sure make St Regis stand out.

This St. Regis truly lives up to its name. It is impeccable in presentation from the entrance to the details of the room. All the bellman are super attentive, nice, and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure that you feel safe, comfortable, and are being helped. The decor of this hotel is also beautiful. As this hotel is only about 2 months old when my husband and I came for our honeymoon, everything in the hotel is in mint condition.

Being in Bangkok can be overwhelming as it is a bustling city but coming home to this hotel really takes you away from it all. This building is a luxury resort in a high rise so don't think it's a beach side resort. But giving it 5 stars doesn't really do it justice.

Big Pro:
Hotel RIGHT next to a sky train station and makes it easy to get ANYWHERE. Starting in July, it will be directly connected to a floor in the hotel so you don't even need to step outside.

Net, our butler (yes, you get a butler) was truly at our service any time, night and day-ahhhmazing!

Con:
The breakfast restaurant is amazing and delicious but the staff needs a bit more training. They are super nice but can drop the ball if it gets crowded. They aren't as attentive as it seems they become short staff when it is busy so you are left without drinks for a while before someone comes to check on you. The food you order takes a bit longer to prepare and we have gotten wrong orders delivered to our table a few times.

Will most definitely be back.

Dear Reviewer,
Thank you very much for your kind compliments and feedback. As you mentioned, all of our associates take pride in serving our guests and go beyond to exceed your expectations. For VIU and its team, we have engaged in a detailed training program to enable them to handle peak periods better. In regards to the direct connection to the Rajadamri skytrain station, we plan to complete this project early August. We look forward to having you back here soon!

Fantastic hotel, only wished we had stayed longer.
We were upgraded on arrival and because my husband had told the hotel we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary I received a bouquet of flowers, a chocolate cake and a lovely card with a beautiful message from the butler.
The hotel has a sky train stop directly outside (the direct walk way is not finished as yet ) which is great for getting a round.
Hotel staff were very helpful with info on shopping and sights to see.
This is without doubt the best quality and service hotel in Bangkok. We loved it and will remember our special time there for ever!
