The Esplanade is a mall at the Thailand Cultural Center station of the MRT subway line. Follow sign from the train, about 5 minute walk. It is less crowded than the central Bangkok malls. It has many beauty shops, smaller non chain shops, many restaurants in the basement level, a Tops Supermarket, Mcdonalds, Starbucks, etc. There is, as in most malls a large cinema, ice skating rink and a beautiful theatre for broadway shows and concerts. Although easier to reach by train, it has a large parking garage and an open air night time restaurant and bar complex at the rear of the mall. There is a very good dentist on the second floor also if you are in need.
Just an average mall.parked at the mall less than 2 hours and was charged 140bath.its just too expensive for an average shooping mall like this..
I came here for the Art in Paradise, but also took the opportunity to walk around the mall.
It is a decently enough place, though nothing truly to laud about.
Food court food was average and hardly sufficient in terms of portions.
Unlikely to ever come back here again.
The usual type of shopping mall you'll get with more locals brands. The popular Rod Fai night market is located behind, and you can cut through the mall, cross the road and head to the night market. Tip: After you are done with shopping at the mall or night market, walk forward ( against traffic) to the nearby AIA buidling to get your GRAB taxi. We trying to Grab for 30min the the mrt exit near Esplanade mall and gave up. Once at the AIA building, we got a cab in 2min.
Typical mall with obvious brands and services plus cinema theatre, very crowded
all day long and especially at night, when nearby night market kicks off. Conviennent location next to MRT is advantage.
Very nice mall with lots of food options at basement. We had an early dinner before proceeding to Rod Fai market located right behind the mall.
There’s also a lot of small stalls selling clothes like Rod Fai and pricing are very competitive.
Lastly, try the pushcart stall selling fried chicken right outside mrt entrance.!! My Favourite!!! 😋
