After scouring the fantastic malls of Bangkok you begin to think why mall after mall carries the same international brands you can get at home.

I was so happy when I came across Terminal 21, which is connected to the Skywalk off BTS Asoke. Corny in some ways with the themed floors, the building itself is well designed and feels really new and fresh.

The real highlight though is the Thai designer floor where you can find unique clothing and some handicraft.

Highly recommended!

Well worthwhile visiting as this mall is unique in its airport style concept. Decor and design is fantastic.
Amazing food choices and an excellent food court where you can get really good cheap food. You buy a card from the cashier and use this to make your purchases at each food stall. Card is valid for 30 days and extra amounts can be downloaded.
MBK probably has better prices but this mall is worth seeing.

Newly opened and as other travellers mentioned each floor has themes - London, San Francisco. Very well done. You can access it through BTS Asoke. Shops are mainly for young 30 year olds. Food is reasonable but mainly restaurants. Also cinemas but I think the movies are in Thai. There is also a food court but did not eat in the food court. We ate in one of the restaurants and the food was reasonable. Very new, clean and glittzy. A must see whilst in Bangkok. It is worth it just for the air conditioning. The toilets are free as most other shopping malls charge 2 baht (which is nothing). It is just a pain to have small change on you when we come from a country where you do not pay to go to the toilet.

Quite a new building, just opened last November. Just off Asoke station you can go right in. There is an each floor symbolizes like London, Tokyo, San Francisco and Hollywood. I don' think the shops come from that country, they just name the stories. I never see in Bangkok so many choices of Japanese food in one place. There is Fuji (Japanese), Sukiyaki, Japanese curry, Ramen(noodles), Beef bowl and so on. If you love Japanese food this is the place to go. However, most shops are aimed for women, teenager thru 30's. So a quite boring for guys.
