Four Seasons is known for their roast meat, so we ordered the roast duck, barberque pork, crispy belly pork and kwai fei chicken. They were very tasty and juicy.

We also ordered the Aromatic duck, where the meat was wrapped with a pancake skin, just like Peking duck.

We also enjoyed the Sweet and sour pork, string beans with pork and ho fun with beef.

The service was excellent too.

If you like Cantonese roast and dishes, this is the place.

Craving some Chinese fare, so stopped by for dinner. Sad to say this is a far far cry from the original London restaurant. Roast duck was not crispy enough, and Cha Siew was too sweet and has poor texture. Roast pork was passable.

If you're looking to get your fix of chinese roast stuff, don't come here.

A franchise of the 'famous' Chinese restaurant in London, known to Thais for their roast duck. The version served in Thailand is not as good. However there are other dishes on offer which are quite delicious - tofu with salt and chili, vegetables fried with garlic.

This is what happens with unregulated "branding" of a once great Cantonese restaurant of the same name in Bayswater, London. As many TA reviewers have noted here in BKK, Four Season's local flagship eatery is best enjoyed for just three iconic dishes: Cantonese roast duck (NOT aromatic version), char siu pork (moo-daeng) and crispy belly pork (moo-grobb). As with London, the rest of the menu is below par & can be ignored. But even the trio-of-favorites is subject to the ebb & flow of inconsistency. This should be addressed by the people who run things here. Two weeks ago the aforementioned trio of Cantonese dishes gave great satisfaction: perfectly roasted, freshly portioned, succulent and flavorsome . Yesterday's experience turned things on its head. The duck came to the table without its skin, an extraordinary omission when one considers that the crisp, golden skin is an integral part of this dish's enjoyment. It took more than a few minutes for the waitress to "replace" the offending skinless duck. However, the kitchen had merely fished out odd scraps of curled-up duck skin from heaven knows where & crudely laid them on top of the chopped sections of duck as originally served. The situation called for replacing the skinless duck with a freshly chopped portion with skin ATTACHED. What they fobbed me of with will not do. Nor will the chewy & unpalatable moo daeng (char siu). Only the moo grobb (crispy belly pork) was acceptable. The famous gravy had been sparingly empolyed but I enjoyed the yellow mustard dip made from Coleman's mustard powder from the UK. Not exactly a traditional condiment served with Cantonese roast meets but an interesting twist nevertheless. Come on Four Seasons here in BKK, please get your house in order.
