Hands down this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at (even in comparison to hotels in the US). Very spacious room, great decor, and beds are very comfortable. Can't say enough good things about the staff - they are incredibly welcoming and helpful for all needs. Hotel also provides complimentary breakfast with a nice river view. Location is in a more quiet area of town. The complimentary transportation to the night markets every night was great and it was very easy to find a ride back. I miss this hotel already and will definitely return if I get the opportunity!

We had an a great stay at the Aruntara. The design of the hotel is very cool, it's clear that some clever thought and attention to detail was put in when they built it. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. We slept very well each night and greatly enjoyed breakfast by the river, the egg station chef is a master omelette maker!

If you're looking for a cool boutique hotel (they only have 30 rooms) set in a relaxing atmosphere by the river, with friendly staff, then I recommend staying here. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful hotel (loved the lobby and courtyard) and very spacious and comfortable rooms. Great value, especially as our room promotion included some free massages. Our only drawback was that the hotel is not in immediate walking distance of the night market or gate, but there is a complimentary nightly shuttle (one-way only). Taxis were not expensive or difficult to find for the return trip.

This is a very classic thai theme hotel in chiang mai, where rooms are spacious and staffs are extremely friendly and helpful. The receptionist allows us an early check in at 11 with honeymoon set up. I do appreciate their effort to delight the guests. Breakfast is acceptable, i don expect myself to eat a lot in the morning, food is tasty with plenty of options. Location may not be that convenient and it takes 20ins to walk to night bazzar. Tuktuk is recommended to minimize walking. To conclude, a highly recommended hotel at such value!Thank you for giving me such a memorable stay!

The hotel is in an excellent location on the river and very close to the airport, the hotel offers airport pickup and drop off and we were very very pleased with this service. The hotel is on the outer edge of the main market areas and not too far from the old city. Easy to get Tuk Tuks all around town. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the night markets every night and they also have bicycle which you can rent for free.

We rented a twin share room and the room was wonderful, comfortable beds, great amenities. I could see myself staying here for longer than 2 nights the next time I visit Chiang Mai.

The restaurant was good, we had some late night snacks by the river which were very tasty and generous serving sizes for two people. The breakfast offered was a great way to start the day.

The hotel staff were superb, friendly and very approachable and happy to help in anyway.
