Stayed here for a good 2 months as part of a group trip. The pool is great, wifi, laundry on site, breakfast included, they send postcards for you, clean your room everyday. Not much more you can ask for for a cheap price & good accommodation,

Really enjoyed the stay at the eco resort, mainly due to the great moments shared there and meeting a whole bunch of friends for life.

The rooms were comfortable, I had a twin room sharing with someone from my course and the space was adequate. The air conditioning works well, the shared showers aren't the best as half of them don't work.

Due to the location be prepared to get plenty of mosquito bites, although I did really enjoy the surroundings and the natural feel to the place.

I was Chaing Mai in Feb. 2013 to study Thai Yoga Massage. The Eco Resort provided a convenient base within walking distance of the School. Very basic, inexpensive accommodations that reminded me of a 2-person college dorm room although single rooms were available and I never had to share my 2-bed room with anyone while I was there. Male and female showers and restroom facilities were a short walk outside down a paved pathway. They have a nice big pool and walking paths around what I would guess is roughly a 10-acre property. There is a small restaurant open from breakfast into the late evening. It serves buffet-style meals or individual orders and alcoholic drinks. The have wi-fi and a few communal desk-top computers for checking email and planning excursions. There are lounge areas with a small library of books in the main building. Laundry services are also available. You can book trips, like elephant tours, and rent motor scooters there as well. All in all, not bad if you are okay with just a place to flop without high expectations of amenities.

If you like,

- a big pool

But it comes with,

- very old rooms
- very worn out bathrooms
- bad cleaning
- small rooms
- none flexible staff
- no bar
- very bad breakfast, actually one of the worst I've had.

In general my experience with resort/hostel is that, I got the feeling that they are taking all the steps they can to minimize there costs, and that's sadly on the expense of the customer.

Again, they got a great pool, and it is great, but everything else sadly completely ruined my experience.
