The property is small, but the entrance and common areas exude a plantation elegance. The décor and accessories have been carefully selected to give a calming and nostalgic feel throughout. Stayed 5 nights; we could have stayed for weeks. Plants and foliage blended with the atmosphere; a tropical oasis in the midst of the Old City of Chiang Mai.
Breakfast is a la carte;, individually cooked to order and excellent.

Only caveat: be wary of front desk tour and restaurant suggestions We received some unhelpful suggestions

Room Tip: Try for a room on the upper floor

We arrived in the evening to Chiang Mai to find our original booking to be dirty, loud, and expensive. After finding a cafe offering wifi, we were in a frantic search to book something for the night. We stumbled across Baan Klang Wiang and went for it...and ended up staying 3 nights! This was, hands down, the best property we stayed at during our 3 week excursion. The staff are SO KIND and accommodating. The rooms have classic touches, are very clean, and quite cozy. The property itself is phenomenal and a secret retreat from the hustle and bustle, not to mention perfect location. 6 STARS! STAY HERE!

This serene hotel in the midst of the madness of Chiang Mai was an incredible respite for my wife and me during our 4 days here. The staff is awesome, the breakfast is delicious (and plentiful), the high ceilinged rooms spacious and the garden court extraordinarily relaxing. It is reasonably priced and fantastically located. You couldn't ask for more.

Unfortunately we only booked for 1 night at the Baan Klang Wiang. The rooms are spacious, very clean and the mattress very comfortable.

Loved the local spicy noodle soup for breakfast

On top of it the entire Team is very attentive and friendly.
