I have visited several coffee shops around the city, some good some not so good.
Wawee is situated by the river & close to the city, so it should not cost more than 30bht to get here.
Although the airconditioned area is a little small, there is seating outside under cover or under some beautiful trees.
The location is lovely & the coffee is quite good.
The prices are also very reasonable.
Enjoy

it is happily very difficult to find bad coffee in Chiang Mai, largely thanks to the efforts of King Rama 9 who encouranged coffee plantations in the north which has a perfect climate. Wawee, although it is chain, has constantly maintained quality with friendly staff and of course free wifi

Did I say I LOVE Wawee Coffee?? Well, I do!! Love stopping in here occasionally....why occasionally, and not daily? Because I love getting the chocolate brownie balls!!! They are such a wonderful, decadent treat to incorporate with my coffee!!

I am a big fan of all the Wawee Coffee shops but I especially like this branch. I have visited this coffee shop many times since it first opened a few years ago, and each time I have been thoroughly impressed by the quality of the beverages and the appearance of the shop. The cafe itself is quite large with many seats indoor and outdoors which means that there seems to always be a seat. The free wifi, and air conditioning, mixed with the abundance of tables makes this a great place to go and work or just chill out with friends. The parking is free for people visiting the cafe or a small fee (used to be 20 baht, I haven't parked here for a while so it may have gone up) for those who just wish to drop their car. The staff have always been friendly, helpful, the drinks are very nice and the bathrooms have always been clean. My only complaint is that in 2016 they were playing Christmas music every time I went into the shop between January and June, not that this is a major complaint, just a little quirk.

It is my first review. I came Chaingmai Mai last December weather was really good as fall but this season is hot too much. Even they say next month will be hotter than this. Anyway I visit a warrot local market. I found a good cafe with river view. Here is a really good place to take a rest with cold drink
