Nice place good location and a decent pool but the staff are all a waste of time on power trips and only interested in tips.

The breakfast is decent but the service is really bad and all the staff are dull no similes

The hotel is very nice, great location and good food but a few things let it down badly.
First the staff, why do you smile ? and there ni need to be rude. Reception/front of house staff should welcome you with a smile and try to make your staff more enjoyable but here its the complete opposite with the reception staff.

Secondly why do they allow people to reserve sun beds early morning 6am -ish and not use them only go back to bed and to return hours later ! Ive seen from previuos post that this happens and that comments will be pasted on the management etc... but clearly they do nothing about this.
NOTE: This activity seems to be the norm with LK Hotel here as they all let it happen and say they will address the issue but never do !

We stay here for 3 to 5 nights twixe this may. All the employe are very helpful and friendly.Very very good location and room is facing in the seaview. Breakfast is good but staffs in the restaurant very rud in the afternoon.

As most are aware, the further south you go on Beach Road the more you are going to pay for your accommodation - especially if you want a room facing the water. I booked my 2-night stay in March for a "Deluxe Sea View w/ Jacuzzi and King Bed" room via a competitor's website for 9,000 baht (about $280 US).

The room, while dated, was well-maintained and clean which is all I need when traveling to this part of Thailand. The view was spectacular as advertised and the hotel itself it situated about 1.5 blocks from the beach.

Overall a nice, short stay even if a bit overpriced but again...you are paying for location and convenience. Would book again.

Room tip: There are several properties under the LK group so make sure you have the right one. Accidentally sent my taxi to the Metropole, Lol.

I stayed here for 6 nights (room 2208 & 2211). pros:
1- The hotel is on the beach.
2- good buffet breakfast
3- clean

Cons:
1- POOR and unprofessional front desk worker (Utumborn). When I asked for my $100 despoil she lied to my face that I did not have a deposit!!! - I confronted her and asked that she get training in respecting guest especially that the hotel is a 4-star hotel.
2- Internet connection is annoying and you have to re-enter user name and password several times a day;
3- plumbing problems (in both rooms). They, however, responded quickly and resolved the issue.

I will NEVER come back to this hotel or any LK Properties.
