Oh marina! Every time i go pattaya i will go there. Its a very simple but nice hotel. A little bit old but has a nice swimming pool and kind staff. Its just 5 min walk to walking street and in front of this there is 7-11. There is safe box in every room. The air conditioner is not good enough and a little bit hot but u can use fan too. Its near gay clubs and if you are gay you can enjoy ). I think this hotel is not good for family traveler but for friends or solo the best and most cheep

I have just returned after a 3 week trip to Thailand , I moved from one hotel to the Karma Guest House on the Soi Buakhao to find it was not fit for a dog to stay in, after panicking like mad, I was told about the Marina Inn Plaza. I went round to meet the owner where he showed me a selection of rooms, I was shown a massive suite and offered it at a reasonable price, however was too big for myself. After seeing one of the other rooms I opted to take the Junior Suite on the second floor, it had Air Conditioning , Ceiling fan Fridge with Freezer Compartment, dining table and Queen Size Bed, with a view over the City towards the hills, Wonderful.
The Staff could not do enough to help you, and was courteous all the time. It also boasted the only swimming pool in the Sunni Plaza area with a pool side bar offering food and drink till 9pm each evening, with covered seating areas to escape the boling weather. The pool can be used by other visitors at a charge but free to Hotel Guests and also the use of Sun Loungers. I was now relaxed .
The hotel is slightly dated as other reviews have explained but this gives it a cosy and welcoming feel.
All the rooms have a safe, which is free of charge unlike other hotels.
The location is about 100 meters from Second Road , one of the main streets that runs parallel to Walking Street, There is plenty of Bars in the Area and Food Joints also Laundry Services and convenience stores such as 7 11 opening 24 hours a day.
I got a good nights sleep every night, yes you can here some music from the Bars in the area but nothing too noisy that would Affect Sleep, A lot of the bars close around 2am - 3 am depending how busy they are and all give a warm welcome. Check out is usually 12pm but I was not charged anything extra for using my room till 6pm before my flight home. If you want your room cleaning then just drop your key at the 24 hour reception before 12 noon and it will be done by 3pm , with fresh towels, bedding etc. I met lots of people from all parts of the world and all of them enjoyed the hotel very much. I can not wait to return in a few months.
Remember this is Thailand where things are a lot different than the Western World, but definitely a home from home hotel.
it also has FREE - Wifi through out the hotel and pool area.

LOVED IT LOVE THE STAFF - I LOVE THAILAND

Room Tip: Standard Rooms through to Suites are all resonably priced- obviously the higher standard the better, but I would of been happy with the standard rooms also.

Located near by Walking street ( main night life city area).Suggested room on the right side coz on the left the noise of the bars are till late night.Staff very welcoming and accomodating any request.Nice pool and restaurant areas for hours of complete relax. Cleaning room and maintanance should improve.
Good rooms prizes vs service

By all other measures, Marina Inn Pattaya at Baht 720 a night should be an unbeatable bargain.

The hotel is centrally located with short walks to "Walking Street", Pattaya Beach, and the main commercial district.

It is an older style hotel, with a certain grace. Its rooms are clean, the bed linen is fresh and the showers provide lots of hot water.

But if you are looking for a good night's sleep, forget it. The side of the hotel overlooks a soi full of bars and gay go-go bars. The lady boys strutting up and down the soi are still screaming at each other at maximum decibels at 3 o'clock in the morning making sleep all but impossible.

Room Tip: If you must stay here try for a room on the opposite side to the soi with all the bars and go-go bars.
